The galvo scanning head sweeps the laser beam across the weld area at extremely high speed while the robot positions and moves the head along the weld seam, enabling oscillating weld patterns, complex weld geometries, and simultaneous multi-spot welding that fixed-head robotic laser welding cannot achieve.
