GaN and LED Laser Lift-Off LLO System

The AOGEO GaN and LED laser lift-off system serves optoelectronic device manufacturing. Laser energy passes through a compatible growth substrate and acts at the interface to separate the GaN epitaxial or LED device layer. Lift-off, supported transfer and subsequent interface treatment follow the receiving-carrier and device-support plan.

  • Applications: Process GaN and applicable LED structures grown on sapphire, with receiving support established for the device layer. Coordinate interface irradiation with growth-substrate removal and inspection of the supported optoelectronic structure.
  • Process inputs and outputs: Inputs include workpieces with documented epitaxial layers, growth substrates and bonding or support conditions. Outputs are supported device layers, separated growth substrates, processing-area records and the agreed inspection results.
  • Configuration discussion: Match the source, beam shaping, energy distribution and scan overlap to substrate transmission and interface absorption. Plan alignment, focus, carrier fixturing and separation motion, together with particle and gas management.
  • Quality and acceptance: Inspect separation completeness, interface residue, cracks, localized damage and bow. Evaluate transfer results through support-bond condition, device electrical behavior and optical response. Include subsequent cleaning and interface preparation in the agreed process sequence.
  • RFQ information: Provide the GaN epitaxial and device stack, growth-substrate thickness and surface condition, receiving-carrier details and bonding information. Include thermal limits, optoelectronic test criteria, samples, downstream transfer operations, clean-handling constraints and traceability requirements.

Evaluate the machine in the context of process, industry and material requirements to compare routes and plan validation.

ENGINEERING SELECTION

Engineering selection starts with four inputs

A model number is only a starting point. Define the part, target, cycle time and integration conditions to build a verifiable configuration.

01

Part & material

Provide material, dimensions, thickness, surface condition and fixturing requirements.

02

Process & quality targets

Define the required result, precision, appearance and consistency criteria.

03

Cycle time & output

Provide target cycle time, shifts, loading method and changeover frequency to size the system correctly.

04

Automation & interfaces

Evaluate vision, traceability, robotics, material handling and production-line communication requirements.

FAQ

Questions before starting a project

Confirm the project boundary before sample testing and engineering configuration to reduce selection cycles.

View service & support
What information is needed before equipment selection?

Share part drawings or photos, material and thickness, process location, quality standard, target cycle time, and automation or interface requirements.

Is the configuration shown in the video final?

Videos illustrate operation and process direction. Laser source, optics, motion, tooling, vision and safety are configured for the actual part and project targets.

Do you support sample testing and process validation?

Yes. Submit materials, drawings and acceptance criteria; after the test scope is agreed, results can guide equipment selection.

How is the delivery scope defined?

The agreed project documents define the scope, which may include equipment, process validation, tooling, automation, training and service support.
