Wafer Laser Resistor and Functional Trimming System

The AOGEO wafer laser trimming system combines localized laser removal with electrical measurement to adjust designed resistor regions or trim links. Resistance or circuit response provides feedback for controlled processing. The operation connects wafer testing, parameter adjustment and verification through position-specific processing and measurement records.

  • Applications: Trim thin-film resistor networks, accessible links and functional parameters in analog or sensor circuits that incorporate suitable trim structures. Define cut patterns, stop conditions and protected regions from the device design and measurement objective.
  • Process inputs and outputs: Inputs include device wafers with documented resistor or trim-link layouts, probe pads, coordinate maps and target electrical parameters. Outputs are adjusted wafers, processing-location maps and measurements recorded before and after each defined adjustment.
  • Configuration discussion: Coordinate laser wavelength, pulse delivery, focus, vision alignment and wafer motion with probe contact and the measurement circuit. Discuss feedback decisions, binning, reject handling, particle extraction and production-data interfaces.
  • Quality and acceptance: Check target-parameter deviation, stability after trimming, cut geometry, residue, neighboring structures and passivation condition. Repeat measurements at agreed temperature, bias or environmental conditions, and verify the measurement system together with trim-stop rules.
  • RFQ information: Supply the trimmable structure layout, material stack, electrical operating principle and target window. Include probe arrangements, allowed processing regions, protection requirements, representative samples, test programs and traceability rules.

PROCESS & APPLICATION

Move from equipment to a complete solution

Evaluate the machine in the context of process, industry and material requirements to compare routes and plan validation.

ENGINEERING SELECTION

Engineering selection starts with four inputs

A model number is only a starting point. Define the part, target, cycle time and integration conditions to build a verifiable configuration.

01

Part & material

Provide material, dimensions, thickness, surface condition and fixturing requirements.

02

Process & quality targets

Define the required result, precision, appearance and consistency criteria.

03

Cycle time & output

Provide target cycle time, shifts, loading method and changeover frequency to size the system correctly.

04

Automation & interfaces

Evaluate vision, traceability, robotics, material handling and production-line communication requirements.

FAQ

Questions before starting a project

Confirm the project boundary before sample testing and engineering configuration to reduce selection cycles.

View service & support
What information is needed before equipment selection?

Share part drawings or photos, material and thickness, process location, quality standard, target cycle time, and automation or interface requirements.

Is the configuration shown in the video final?

Videos illustrate operation and process direction. Laser source, optics, motion, tooling, vision and safety are configured for the actual part and project targets.

Do you support sample testing and process validation?

Yes. Submit materials, drawings and acceptance criteria; after the test scope is agreed, results can guide equipment selection.

How is the delivery scope defined?

The agreed project documents define the scope, which may include equipment, process validation, tooling, automation, training and service support.
